Women With A Cause was founded in 2006 to help change the lives of women around the globe. During the last 4 years our work in India has made a difference in the lives of many women and their communities.
As our programs continue to grow and expand we are seeking out new opportunities to invest in women around the world and share those opportunities with women in the United States. Our Accomplishments:
- Built 2 sewing centers in India to house an on-going training program with American seamstress teacher: The students in this program gain new skills that provide them a stable job and income to help them support their families and communities.
- Provided the funding to build a modern children's school in Hyderabad, India.
- Provided micro-loans that enabled Indian women to open their own businesses.
- Given dozens of American women the chance to travel to India to change the lives of Indian women by working one-on-one with them and teaching them to sew.
